academic medical professions (dentistry)
is aimed at international dentists who have immigrated and are undergoing a recognition procedure in order to be able to practise their profession in Germany. Participation is possible with (partial) funding from the BAMF (Federal Office for Migration and Refugees) only.

The course focuses on specialised language skills in the field of dentistry and aims at a thorough preparation for the “Fachsprachprüfung Zahnmedizin”. Participants of the course acquire the language skills and communicative strategies that are necessary both for obtaining a licence to practise dentistry and for coping with everyday working life in a German dental centre.
The course comprises a total of 600 teaching unitsTeaching units:
One teaching unit = 45 minutes
. Lessons are taught by suitably qualified teachers and specialised lecturers and take place daily from Monday to Friday.

level is required and must be proven by an officially recognised language certificate. In addition, a placement test will be carried out in advance to determine not only the exact current language level but also existing specialised language skills.

Registration

Learners of German who have completed a degree in dentistry and are interested in our virtual Special course C1 academic medical professions (dentistry) must first attend a consultation with the office responsible for them.

When registering for the course, a confirmation of obligation or entitlement from the BAMF, the Job Centre or the Employment Agency must be presented. If you are not sure who to contact, please get in touch with us; we can tell you which organisation is responsible. They will determine whether you are authorised to register for our special course.

To take part in this virtual course, you will need: stable internet, computer/laptop, camera, microphone, headphones.
