telc Deutsch B1-B2 Pflege is an internationally recognised telc examination for German learners who wish to obtain a language certificate tailored to healthcare professions. It tests language proficiency at levels B1-B2ABOUT PROFICIENCY LEVELS:

Participants will be registered for the exam during the course. External applicants can register during the registration period using the online form. The examination fee is €180 (including a €30 registration fee).

Exam format and grading

The telc Deutsch B1-B2 Pflege exam consists of a written and an oral section. The written section is 115 minutes in duration and contains listening comprehension, reading, language elements, and written expression tasks. The oral exam is 16 minutes long (after a preparation phase of 20 minutes) and will take place either on the same day as the written exam or on the following day. You will receive information about the exact schedule two weeks before the exam.

The sample exam, which telc offers for download, gives you a more detailed impression and shows the distribution of points and the respective pass marks.

The exam is corrected by telc within 4–6 weeks. We will inform you as soon as the results are ready to be picked up at our office.
