The telc gGmbH developed a new examination format which makes it possible to hold telc examinations abroad in fully digitalised form. At regular intervals, we conduct the digital telc Deutsch A2-B1, telc Deutsch B1, telc Deutsch B2 and telc Deutsch C1 Hochschule examinations at our partner institutions. What is the role of Sprachenakademie Aachen in telc examinations conducted abroad?

Sprachenakademie Aachen is a licensed telc examination center. It administers telc examinations both at its headquarters in Aachen and, together with international cooperation partners, at selected overseas examination locations that have been inspected and approved by telc.

What is the role of the local cooperation partner in telc examinations outside Germany?

The local partner is responsible for organising registrations and providing the examination facilities. The examinations are supervised by Sprachenakademie Aachen and conducted in accordance with telc regulations.

How can I register for a telc examination abroad?

Registration takes place through the respective cooperation partner at the examination location. The contact details of our partners can be found above.

How do I pay for my telc examination?

Payment information will be provided directly by the respective cooperation partner.

How do I know whether my registration for the telc examination was successful?

Our cooperation partner will confirm your registration in writing.

How do I know whether my payment for the telc examination has been received?

Our cooperation partner will confirm receipt of your payment.

Can I take my telc examination online?

No. The examination is conducted exclusively in a digital format at the official examination location. The written part is taken on a laptop, while the oral examination takes place in a virtual classroom via Zoom with remotely connected examiners.

When will I receive the results of my telc examination taken abroad?

The results of your telc examination will be published after the assessment has been completed. Processing times may vary depending on the examination format. Further information can be found here.

When will I receive my telc certificate?

Certificates and result sheets will be provided to you digitally after the assessment has been completed.

I would like to appeal my result. What can I do?

Appeals can be submitted directly via the telc contact form.
