Booking conditions for examinations
Sprachenakademie Aachen regularly conducts a wide range of examinations. We are a licensed examination centre for standardised formats offered by several examination providers. Therefore, different booking conditions may apply depending on the examination. Below you can find the requirements and conditions applicable to your examination.
FH Aachen DSH Examination
This examination is governed by the FH Aachen DSH Examination Regulations. By booking a DSH examination, you confirm that you have read and agree to comply with the rules and requirements set out in these regulations.
Cancellation of a booked DSH examination is only possible up to two weeks before the examination date and must be requested in writing. If the cancellation is submitted within the deadline, the examination fee will be refunded, while the registration fee is non-refundable.
Absence on the day of the examination can only be excused by submitting a medical certificate issued and submitted on the same day. Upon presentation of a valid medical certificate, you may reschedule your examination once on payment of a rescheduling fee of €30.00. No further rescheduling will be permitted.
telc Examinations
This includes the following examination formats: telc Deutsch A1 für Zuwanderer, telc Deutsch A2-B1, telc Deutsch B1, telc Deutsch B2, telc Deutsch B1-B2 Pflege, telc Deutsch C1 Hochschule
All telc examinations are subject to the telc Examination Regulations and Terms and Conditions. By booking a telc examination, you confirm that you have read and agree to comply with the rules and requirements set out in these documents.
If you wish to repeat only part of an examination, please refer to the relevant provisions in the telc Examination Regulations (pp. 13–16, Section 7.3). If you would like a successfully completed examination component from the previous year to be recognised, you must indicate this explicitly when registering. Requests for recognition cannot be submitted after registration has been completed.
