Information for participants of our BAMF courses

From 17 March until presumably 19 April, Sprachenakademie Aachen will remain closed. Courses in our classrooms will not take place during this period. The government introduced this regulation (which is binding for public and private schools and many other organisations) in order to slow down the spread of the coronavirus. For more information and links, please scroll down to the end of this text.

The integration courses and vocational German language promotion („basic modules B2 and C1“), will not take place in our rooms until we may re-open the house.

The Federal Office for Migration and Refugees (BAMF) decides centrally for all course providers whether there will be alternative offers during the interruption of lessons. As a language course provider, we  adhere to the guidelines of the BAMF. Participants of courses for which alternative options exist will be contacted by email.

In order to enable you to keep on practicing German during the break, we have compiled a list of links for you: It contains a collection of useful websites that provide offers for further learning. We will supplement and update the list regularly.

Online language learning offers for self-study

We wish you all the best for the duration of the break and look forward to meeting all of you again.

The BAMF offers information on the current situation under these two links (several languages):
