German for Study & Work

The summer courses “German for Study & Work” are aimed at university students and other interested learners who want to expand their language skills in international groups and get to know German life with all its facets: your stay in Aachen will offer you the opportunity to learn a lot about Germany both in the classroom and during leisure activities.

• Four-week university summer course
• Part of the “Aachener Sprachsommer”
• For international students (18 years and older)
• Face-to-face intensive German lessons on a daily basis in Aachen
• Course book and additional teaching materials included
• Experienced professional teachers
• Final certificate and 5 ECTSECTS

Learning goals

• Expand vocabulary and grammatical knowledge
• Train oral and written communication skills
• Use creative approaches in group and project tasks
• Gain insights into German culture and topics of regional studies

Course structure & requirements for participation

• Classes from Monday through Friday
• 25 teaching unitsTeaching units:
  One teaching unit = 45 minutes per week, 100 teaching units in total

  • Social get-togethers
