Intensive German Courses
About our German Courses
We offer our participants intensive German courses on 9 different levels – ranging from A1 to C1 (according to the CEFR). After an individual consultation and an entry-level test we’ll find the adequate course for each interested person. In order to avoid long waiting times, for most parts, an entry into ongoing courses is also possible. All intensive courses take place Monday through Friday (25 hours per week), either in the morning or in the afternoon.
Our course system divides into 9 modules. Every module comprises 100 teaching units. According to their individual previous knowledge of German, participants can begin with an adequate module. Each module can be booked individually.
There are 11 start dates every year. On each of the start dates, all 9 modules begin parallel.
After successfully completing the fifth module, our participants have reached a German proficiency level which prepares them well for the certified exams Zertifikat Deutsch B1 and Deutsch-Test für Zuwanderer (DTZ).
Having completed module 8 or 9, a participation in the DSH exam or TestDaF is possible. Passing one of these examinations (or an equivalent language test) at level C1 is a prerequisite for admittance for courses of study at a German university.
Apart from the intensive courses introduced on this site, Sprachenakademie also offers examination training which allows participants to learn more about the different parts of each exam. Participants of these courses will not reach a higher level.
Course Overview and Fees
There are 9 modules. It depends on your previous knowledge of German which module you begin with. The fee for a single module amounts to 350,- €. In case 2 or more modules are booked at the same time, we will allow a discount. According to the number of modules booked, the fee will be the following:
1 module: 350,- € 6 modules: 1.800,- €
2 modules: 650,- € 7 modules: 2.075,- €
3 modules: 950,- € 8 modules: 2.350,- €
4 modules: 1.250,- € 9 modules: 2.600,- €
5 modules: 1.525,- €
